Karissa Donkin Break Away book launch (feat. julia wright) - Saint John, Nb canada

On October 9th 2025, at the Market Square Public Library in Saint John New Brunswick Canada; Julia Wright hosted the book launch for Canadian writer Karissa Donkin, discussing her upcoming book titled "Break Away" published by Goose Lane Editions. 

Break Away discusses the new Professional Women's Hockey League and the discussion for equal rights for payment in comparison to men's professional sports. Professional female hockey players have notoriously had to pay various fees to play. Despite the irrefutable statistics of high viewiership without the equal compensation of that compared to professional men's sports.

After discussing her new publication she stayed back to sign the books of her supportive readers. While having conversation about what they thought regarding her book.

On October 12th 2025, Katherine Bogel hosted a book signing featuring nine of her self published fantasy novels, at Write Cup in Market Square, Saint John New Brunswick Canada. 

Katherine Bogel is an avid author who has been writing since sixteen years old when she finished her first novel. After graduating from Holland College in Prince Edward Island Canada with a focus in photo digital imaging, she began publishing books. While designing many of the book covers herself since 2014, she now has nine self published titles available for sale.

With a passion for various types of fantasy novels such as sci-fi, romance, and steampunk. Katherine lets her passion for writing live on through her fantasy tales that won the "World's Best Story Contest 2015" award. 

On October 12th 2025, Cathy J Hopkins hosting a booking signing displaying 4 of her books, at Write Cup in Market Square, Saint John New Brunswick Canada.

After being born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island Canada. She has since moved to Halifax Nova Scotia where she resides with her husband and daughter. While working in the finance industry by day, she keep her passion for writing alive.

With a passion for writing Katherine has published a trilogy of thriller books. As well as "Norm The Bull Goes Missing." An illustrated children's novel she wrote as requested by her father, written around a bull named Norm that he owns.
